Going for a vegan lifestyle is another way of welcoming a healthy life. Going vegan is very beneficial. The fruits and vegetables are natural sources of health. Sticking to this simple diet comes with a lot of health benefits. We can name only a few in regard, such as it helps in maintaining high blood pressure, reduces chances of heart diseases, makes one’s bone strong and healthy. Vegan food provides an enormous amount of energy. This improves metabolism as well as boosts the immune system. Therefore the celebration of the vegan day is a wonderful event on can think of.

 History Of Vegan Day

The first initiative for celebrating this healthy day was Louise Waliss’s idea. He established this day in the year of 1994. He claimed himself to be the chairperson of the vegan society then. From that day to this, a lot of changes have come into existence. But all of them were made for the good. Boston, Massachusetts celebrates World Vegan Day every year. The Boston Vegetarian Society took the initiative to host this vegan festival. The festival provides people with a variety of vegan food all over the week. This event is attended by thousands of visitors every year. 

Going Vegan Is A Concept To Rejoice; A Reason For Vegan Day: 

Louise Wallis took the first initiative in the year 1994. But these recent days have successfully witnessed a lot of functional changes such as the transformation of non-vegetarians to a vegan diet. A lot of courage and will power required to embrace a vegan lifestyle. But it becomes a lot easy if one tries to see meat items not as a food but as a dead animal.

Humans should act against the concept of specism. This concept deals with the thought of considering some group of an animal as a pet while the remaining as food. In other words, people take cat and dod as a pet while they chew on lambs and cows. This is speciesism and also hypocrisy for the ones who talk about animal love. But with the growing awareness, the scene is taking a turning point. And people are leaning towards a more vegan lifestyle. 

A survey result on Bupa Global has confirmed that about 65% of the increase in the vegan lifestyle increased in recent years. This result is significantly higher than in the general survey. 

Veganism is a choice which focused more on lifestyle than on the dietary aspect. This is another reason for people to come into this side of the vegan lifestyle. They preferred to live a longer and healthy life. Therefore they chose vegan food over the meat items.

Apart from Bupa Global, there is also another poll conducted by D CFYOR conducted, especially for world vegan day, showed an incredible result in the switching of people from non-vegetarian side to the vegan side. 

People are becoming more aware day by day about the benefits of the consumption of vegan items. One needs to make precise dairy products that cannot come under the vegan banner. Hence vegan people need to look for calcium benefits in vegetables as well as fruits. 

However, one can conclude now, that going vegan is the best for it is the future of diet. Therefore embrace it as soon as possible.
